Maris Piper enthusiast, James O'Brien, is an Illustrator, Animator and Writer, living in North London.

James has been messing about with potatoes for years*.  In 2014 James co-wrote and performed in 'Journey to the Centre of Dead' at the Edinburgh Fringe, which featured a papier-mache cow and fully functioning water cooler (called Deidre).

For 2018, James was selected for the London Illustration fair and released of the calendar 'Dictatoes'.  A potato-printed calendar featuring the antics of brutal dictator, Idi Amin.

*A (family imposed) painting embargo ran from 1989-1992, following a spillage of red acrylic paint on Uncle Don's Persian rug, stunting personal development.
